1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Barangay Central Signal Village website and its online services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service; you may transact in person at the Barangay Hall instead.

2. Who may use the Service

  • The e-services are for residents of Barangay Central Signal Village. To apply for a Barangay Resident Card you must meet the residency requirement shown in the application form and be willing to present documents for verification.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. [CONFIRM MINIMUM AGE POLICY]

  • One account per person. You may not create an account for someone else or use another person's identity.

3. Your account

  • Provide a valid email address that you can access. We use it to verify your account and to send updates about your requests.

  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

  • Tell us right away if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

4. Truthful information and documents

  • All information, photos and documents you submit must be true, accurate, current, and your own.

  • Submitting false, altered or misleading information or documents may lead to rejection or cancellation of your request, cancellation of an issued card, suspension of your account, and liability under applicable Philippine laws.

  • If your information changes (for example your address or contact number), please update it or inform the barangay.

5. Resident card requests

  • Submitting a request online does not guarantee approval. Every request is reviewed by barangay staff, who may ask for corrections or additional proof, and may approve or reject a request.

  • You will be notified by email of changes to the status of your request. Please also check the Requests page in your account.

  • Cards are claimed or delivered according to the schedule and procedure set by the barangay. Bring the required documents when claiming. If you miss your schedule, follow the rescheduling instructions sent to you.

  • The validity period of a card is the one printed on the card. The barangay may cancel a card that was obtained through false information or that is misused.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to impersonate another person

  • Attempt to access accounts, data or systems that you are not authorized to access

  • Upload malicious files, or interfere with or overload the Service, including through automated scripts or bots

  • Send abusive, threatening or spam messages through the Contact Us form

7. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep the Service available, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. Emails may occasionally be delayed or filtered as spam; your account remains the official record of your request status. Transactions may always be made in person at the Barangay Hall.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, the Barangay is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, from your failure to keep your account secure, or from inaccurate information that you submitted. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Data Privacy Act or other laws.

9. Website content

News, announcements and other content on this website are published for public information. Official seals and logos may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or that misleads the public. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown on this page. When the changes are significant, registered users are asked to read and agree to the updated documents before continuing to use the e-services.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
